Introduction to Automation and Integrated Architecture
Course Purpose:
This course will assist students in developing and building a solid foundation of Integrated Architecture and automation system knowledge. Students will learn about and interact with a variety of automation hardware. Students will also have an opportunity to use Rockwell Automation software to perform basic system configuration tasks. While performing these tasks, students will gain an understanding of how controllers, drives, motors, networks, and HMI products function together within Integrated Architecture.

This introductory level course will give students a broad understanding of automation products and serve as an excellent first step when beginning any automation training.

Who Should Attend:
Individuals who have little or no working experience with automation systems and individuals interested in gaining a broad understanding of automation and Integrated Architecture should attend this course.

Prerequisites:
To complete this course successfully, students must be able to perform basic Microsoft Windows tasks, such as use a mouse, browse for files, and open, close, size, and move windows
