 Stainless Steel Lifeline 4
 

The Stainless Steel Lifeline 4 is the only investment-cast stainless steel cable pull switch on the market and is suitable for use on long conveyor systems in harsh environments, e.g. external applications or washdown areas. Made from rugged 316 stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance, the Stainless Steel Lifeline 4 has also been tested to IP66/IP67, making it suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications.

The Stainless Steel Lifeline 4 has the same functionality as the standard Lifeline 4 product and is available with 2 N.C. safety contacts and 2 N.O. auxiliary contacts in M20, ½in NPT or connectorized versions.


A number of accessories suitable for harsh conditions are also being offered, such as installation kits, corner pulleys and replacement lids. Additional features of the Stainless Steel Lifeline 4 include:
  • Up to 75m cable span
  • Lid mounted emergency stop button, designed to conform with EN418
  • Switch lockout on cable pulled and cable slack 
  • Cable status indicator on switch lid

Allen-Bradley Centerline® ArcShield

The Allen-Bradley Centerline® ArcShield arc resistant controller provides rugged process control for applications requiring a higher level of personnel protection. ArcShield products are compliant to the IEEE C37.20.7 standard, and provide Type 2 protection. During an arc flash, the ArcShield controller safely redirects the arc flash energy out the top of the unit and away from personnel. This level of protection is also maintained when the low voltage door is open for maintenance purposes.
